Rh blocking test
[¦är¦āch ¦bläk·iŋ ‚test] (immunology)
A test for the detection of Rh antibody in plasma wherein erythrocytes having the Rh antigen are incubated in the patient's serum so that the antibodies may be adsorbed on these cells, which are then employed in the antiglobulin test. Also known as indirect Coombs test; indirect developing test.
