Facilities:30 campsites, showers, picnic area, enclosed day-use shelter, concessions, hiking trails (13 miles), accessible trails (8 miles), snowmobile trails (10 miles), snowshoe trails (8 miles), playground, scenic vistas, observation tower, outdoor amphitheater.
Activities:Camping, hiking, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, hunting, naturalist programs (seasonal).
Special Features:One of the oldest geological formations on earth, this billion-year-old hill was long thought to be the highest point in Wisconsin. (It is actually the third-highest point.) The top of the 60-foot observation tower is 700 feet above the surrounding plain.
