Riddiford, Lynn M.
Riddiford, Lynn M. (Moorhead)
(1936– ) entomologist; born in Knoxville, Tenn. She was a research fellow at Harvard (1961–63), then taught at Wellesley College (1963–65). She returned to Harvard (1965–73), then relocated to the University of Washington (1973). She made major contributions to studies of the hormonal control of insect development, insect embryogenesis, and the effects of insect olfaction and pheromones.
