By creating synergies between
RIM and the big data program staff and integrating
RIM principles into all processes that "touch" data, organizations can forge and maintain a sustainable path to the information governance (IG) needed to ensure high-value data.
"As part of our research for a newly published profile on
RIM's smart device strategy, it became clear to us that
RIM's intention for BlackBerry 10 is to be 'the best BlackBerry for BlackBerry users' rather than something that will necessarily win converts from other platforms," he said.
Given the quarterly results, he said the earnings numbers "seem to suggest
RIM can easily hold on until BlackBerry 10 is here."
In its verdict, the jury directed
RIM to pay an eight-dollar royalty for every mobile device in the United States connected to a BlackBerry enterprise server.
The
RIM centre is considered to be a part of some deal between the Indian government and
RIM.
December 2009: Market data from IDC showed that
RIM had a very strong overall year in 2009, increasing its overall share of the global smartphone market to 19.8 per cent from the 15.6 per cent share it held in 2008.

RIM maintains a consistent global standard for lawful access requirements that does not include special deals for specific countries,"

But the high-profile launch failed to drum up even a hint of the excitement generated by Apple launches and no one lined up for hours at a flagship store --
RIM doesn t even have one.

RIM data centers, which help manage the devices.
