Rogers, Bruce

(1870–1957) book designer; born in Lafayette, Ind. A longtime designer of limited editions for Riverside Press, Harvard University Press (1895–1934), and others, he designed over 400 books, including a well-known 1909 edition of The Compleat Angler. He also developed the Centaur typeface.
