R/3

An earlier integrated suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications from SAP that formed the client/server version of its R/2 mainframe software. R/3 included information systems for manufacturing, distribution, order processing, accounting and human resources. In 2000, the company transitioned the R/3 nomenclature to mySAP ERP, a core component of its mySAP Business Suite family. The "my" was later dropped, and mySAP ERP became SAP ERP.
