SCSI Architecture Model
The SCSI standards defined by the SCSI Trade Association and T10 Working Group. The SCSI Architecture Model (SAM) defines the command sets that are used by the operating system to control the various supported drives. SAM-5 is the latest specification (there never was a SAM-3). See SCSI.
