SMA connector

(SubMiniature A connector) A threaded plug and socket used for coaxial cable and optical fibers. The first optical fiber connector to be standardized, bi-directional transmission requires two cables and two SMA sockets at each end. SMA is specified by the TIA as FOCIS-1. Reverse Polarity (RP-SMA)
Reverse Polarity SMA connectors are used for coaxial cable, and the socket contains the pin instead of the plug. RP-SMA connectors are used in this example to attach three Wi-Fi antennas to this TP-LINK wireless router.
