ST506 RLL

(ST506 Run-Length Limited) An earlier hard disk interface that doubled capacity and speed of ST506 MFM drives and transferred data at 937 KBytes/sec. The ST506 RLL controller could be used with later MFM drives that were reformatted for RLL. See ST506 and hard disk interfaces.
