Special Features:The largest state marine park in Alaska, Saint James Bay is both a destination recreational area as well as an overnight stop for boaters en route between Haines and Juneau. The bay has been identified by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game as the best waterfowl habitat and hunting area on Lynn Canal. Resident wildlife includes populations of black and brown bear and mountain goats.
