Location:State Highway 6 to County Road 28 west (turns into 65 W), then north on County Road 74.
Facilities:28 drive-in campsites, canoe-in campsite, group camp, picnic area, hiking trails (2 miles), boat access.
Activities:Camping, river fishing, canoeing, hiking, showshoeing.
Special Features:Located within Chippewa National Forest (see separate entry in national forests section), this quiet and peaceful park includes a virgin pine forest with trees more than 300 years old. The park was named for Henry Rowe Schoolcraft, who, with Anishinabe guide Ozawindib, charted the headwaters of the Mississippi River.
