Location:On State Highway 87 in the extreme southeast corner of the Texas coast near Louisiana.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, primitive campsite, showers, restrooms, picnic areas, nature trail (é), beach, boat ramp, boat rentals, observation decks, interpretive center.
Activities:Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, waterfowl hunting (in season), airboat tours.
Special Features:Park includes a 5.2-mile Gulf of Mexico coastline and features both sandy beach for recreation and the biologically significant zone where salt tidal marshlands meet Gulf waters.
