Serber potential

[′sər·bər pə‚ten·chəl]
(nuclear physics)
A potential between nucleons, equal to ½(1 + M) V (r), where V (r) is a function of the distance between the nucleons, and M is an operator which exchanges the spatial coordinates of the particles but not their spins (corresponding to the Majorana force).
