Shakhta

 

an urban-type settlement in Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR, under the jurisdiction of the Kizel city soviet. Situated on the highway linking Solikamsk and Gremiachinsk, Shakhta is 6 km north of the Kizel railroad station on the Solikamsk-Chusovskaia line. The city has a furniture factory. Hard coal is mined nearby.
