This suite includes a library of test development tools (including
Shmoo and I-V plotting) for creating test programs and characterizing devices, a software tool set for importing and converting STIL, WGL, VDC/EVCD, and ATP files to a MTS digital instrument file format, and digital waveform edit/display tools.
The new Digital Pattern Editor software integrates editing environments for device pin maps, specifications and patterns to develop test plans faster; built-in tools like multisite and multi-instrument pattern bursting to expand from development into production seamlessly; and tools like
shmoo plots and an interactive pin view to debug and optimize tests more efficiently.
Indeed, God is in the details, but God is in the details as a participant not just as an observer watching as things come unravelled because some
shmoo like me overlooked a detail.
The place had a reputation throughout NESS for looking as if it housed a family of
shmoos." (A
shmoo is a friendly, placid, milk-and-eggs-supplying creature dreamt up by cartoonist Al Capp--the inventor of "Li'l Abner.") The significance of establishing a white diffuse material with a flat response across the solar reflective region also became an important area of research at NBS during this period.
My girls' favourite is the
Shmoo - different flavour thick shakes with a variety of toppings including whipped cream and sprinkles.
Paul Samuelson adopted the imagery of "
shmoo" from the comic Lil' Abner--shmoos are identical creatures shaped like bowling pins with legs--to capture this kind of homogeneity.
This emphasis on the "heterogeneity" of capital distinguishes Austrian capital theory from many of its predecessors, especially those, most obviously Knight's "Crusonia plant" or Solow's "
shmoo," that viewed capital as a homogenous fund of resources from which equally useful "ladles" could be applied to any production process.
To do this, the cells each have to produce a nodule that they can join together, called a
shmoo. The process of shmooing takes around two hours.
No other Capp adventure may sum up this combination better than the
Shmoo, a story arch that paralleled the transforming parody of the 1950s from innocent to the full-out satirical.
The Canucks are Debora Cohen, guitar; Shelby Stocks, drums; Jenny Smyth, Hammond organ; singer Katie Sketch and her bassist sister, cutely called
Shmoo (who replaced Ashley Webber last year).
Bassist
Shmoo plays deep and loud lines reminiscent of Peter Hook in New Order's early days, while Debora Cohen's guitar is a convincing mix of Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr, particularly on Brother.
