Shugni Range

Shugni Range
a mountain range in the western Pamirs, in the Tadzhik SSR. The Shugni Range is the watershed for the Gunt and Shakhdara rivers. It measures approximately 80 km in length and rises to a maximum elevation of 5,704 m at Skalistyi Peak. Approximately 150 sq km of the range is glaciated. High-mountain steppes and meadows are found on the slopes.
