Location:1 mile east of Victoria on IL 167.
Facilities:Boat ramp, restrooms.
Activities:Boating (10 HP limit), fishing, hunting.
Special Features:With the exception of 160-acre Snakeden Hollow Lake, the area's 125 lakes and ponds were formed as a result of surface mining operations. Restoration efforts, begun in 1987, have developed the once-stripped land into diverse fish and wildlife habitats offering exceptional fishing and hunting opportunities. Site is named for a small creek that "snakes" its way through the property.
