Location:5 miles south of Junction, off Highway 377 on Park Road 73.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, primitive campsites, showers, restrooms, picnic areas, multi-use trails (4 miles), hiking trails (16 miles), beach, historic structure, park store.
Activities:Camping, canoeing, fishing, swimming, tubing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting (with restrictions).
Special Features:The park includes two miles of river frontage and adjoins a 2,000-acre wildlife management area, which is one of the largest and oldest wild turkey roosts in the state. Turkeys may be viewed from observation blinds or, sometimes, visiting picnic areas for leftovers. From October through March the roost area is closed to the public, but campgrounds remain open and the river is accessible.
