Cases were selected where patients also had to have had at least 1 additional tissue
specimen evaluated at a different time.
In this research, a total of nine dog-bone steel
specimens were prepared and tested through using different
specimen preparation methods and correlation image photogrammetry.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) collaborated with several organizations in a review of the effectiveness of barcode
specimen collection in reducing errors.
Pre-3
Specimen. Compared with Pre-1 and Pre-2
specimen, as displayed in Figure 3, the internal cracks formed on Pre-3
specimen were far less, and the damaged plane and the horizontal plane were at an angle, not along with the longitudinal direction, which was ascribed to shear failure.
The
specimens were planned on four sides to the size of 50 mm x 50 mm x 1500 mm (structural size) and 50 mm x 50 mm x 200 mm (small clear
specimen) which were prepared according to [13,14-15].
The SB-480 and GA-480
specimens had the same shear reinforcement amount, whereas the SB-680
specimen had a greater shear reinforcement amount than either of these.
Three
specimen types collected on the same day were available for 53 of the 66 cases and were tested by RT-PCR: 92% of urine
specimens, 81% of saliva
specimens, and 51% of serum
specimens tested positive.
Regular monitoring of our own incident reports through our reporting system identified a rise in
specimen labelling related issues within the organisation and though most errors were corrected through the laboratory checking system, there was potential risk to patients.
To prepare
specimens, the ratio of water to cement made W/C = 0.5/1 while the ratio of sand to cement was S/C = 2, and coarse aggregate was not applied.
