Location:7 miles southwest of Pipestone off State Highway 23.
Facilities:28 drive-in campsites (19 with electrical hookups), showers (é), flush toilets (é), 6 walk-in campsites, group camp, picnic area (é), enclosed picnic shelter (é), playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, self-guided hiking trail (4.5 miles), wheelchair accessible trail (0.5 miles), sliding hill, warming house, swimming beach, fishing pier (é), boat ramp, boat, paddleboat, and canoe rentals, visitor center, interpretive exhibits, historic site, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating (with restrictions), canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing, snow sledding.
Special Features:Split Rock Lake, the largest body of water in Pipestone County, is the predominant feature of the park. The Pipestone National Monument (see separate entry in national parks section) is located 7 miles north of the park.
