Spring Valley State Park
Location:20 miles east of Pioche via NV 322.
Facilities:42 campsites, group use area, restrooms, showers, picnic areas, hiking
trail, historic sites, fish cleaning station, boat ramp, dock with
temporary slips.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, winter sports, wildlife observation.
Special Features:Park features 65-acre Eagle Valley Reservoir, which attracts a variety
of waterfowl and shore birds to the park including mallards, teals,
herons, avocets, and an occasional trumpeter swan. Eagles, hawks,
songbirds, ravens, and road runners inhabit the canyons and valleys. A
number of ranch buildings from the late 19th century still exist in the
park, one of which is used as park headquarters.
