Spuhler, James N.

Spuhler, James N. (Norman)

(1917–  ) physical anthropologist; born in Tucumcari, N.M. He taught at several universities before joining the University of New Mexico (1967–84). He related genetics to human evolution in studies of inbreeding in Japan and the human biology of the Navaho.
