Stora Sjöfallet

 

a waterfall in northern Sweden, on the upper course of the Stora Luleälven River, the main tributary of the Luleälven River. Stora Sjöfallet consists of several successive cascades and has a total drop of approximately 40 m. The flow of the Stora Sjöffallet has been regulated since the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in 1967. The waterfall is a tourist attraction.
