SuperFin
The transistor technology introduced on Intel's Tiger Lake CPUs. The 10-nanometer Superfin (10SF) is an enhancement to the FinFET transistor that offers less resistance between source and drain. For greater performance, an optimized "Enhanced SuperFin" (10ESF) debuted on the Alder Lake microarchitecture in 2021. At the same time, the 10ESF designation was changed to "Intel 7."
