The transforming growth factor-[beta] (TGF-[beta]) is a
superfamily of a large group of secreted proteins which have different roles in tissue homeostasis and embryo development.
Considering that the SCOP 1.55 dataset has 3527 proteins, 51 families and 20 superfamilies, two proteins for each
superfamily were selected.
Morphologically these parasites are compatible with nematodes of the
superfamily Metastrongyloidea, most probably Angiostrongylus.
Among the various growth factors produced by the oocyte and propagated to granulosa cells, we highlight the members of the
superfamily of TGF-[beta] (Webb et al., 2003; Araujo et al., 2010; Fair, 2013).
The report provides comprehensive information on the Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor
Superfamily Member 5 (B-Cell Surface Antigen CD40 or CD40L Receptor or CD40), targeted therapeutics, complete with analysis by indications, stage of development, mechanism of action (MoA), route of administration (RoA) and molecule type.
The resource, which brings together all that's currently known about the Afrotropical members of this wasp
superfamily "under one roof," will make it easier to identify and categorize new species as they're discovered.
SMAD4 downstream signal protein of the TGF
superfamily is an essential factor for mediating the TGF-AY
superfamily signaling.
: The
superfamily of weevils,Curculionoidea, contains about 62,000 described species and subspecies worldwide (Oberprieler et al., 2007).
The role of VAMP7 gene duplication in causing these male birth defects was important because of the type of protein family it belongs to - it is a SNARE (Soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor activating protein receptor) protein (a large protein
superfamily consisting of more than 60 members in yeast and mammalian cell), Lamb said.
