The heat rejection subsystem consists of a constant-flow, pumped condenser water loop that absorbs heat from both the refrigerant condenser and steam
surface condenser and rejects it to the environment using evaporative cooling towers.
A consequence of that redesign in this work is a lower temperature in the steam condenser after the sixth evaporation effect, i.e., the
surface condenser. Traditionally, the
surface condenser is the main heat source for the production of warm water.
