TTF file
TTF file
(TrueType Font file) A TrueType font file in Windows that contains the mathematical outlines of each character in the font. In the Mac, the icon of a TrueType file looks like a document, dog-eared on the upper left, with three A's on it. TTF files are stored in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM or \WINDOWS\FONTS folders. For example, the following files make up the Arial typeface. See FOT file.
\windows\fonts\arial.ttf normal
\windows\fonts\ariali.ttf italic
\windows\fonts\arialbd.ttf bold
\windows\fonts\arialbi.ttf bold italic

The
TTF file is simply added to Windows operating system fonts.
It might be possible to get around this by sending the appropriate
TTF files along with the manuscript file, but this route may not always be available.
