Mid-course guidance correction may be provided by aircraft radar.
i The guidance applied to a guided missile in the vicinity of the target. It is the guidance between the termination of midcourse guidance and the impact with, or detonation in the proximity of, the target.
ii. Visual, electronic, mechanical, or other assistance given to an aircraft pilot to facilitate arrival at, operation within or over, landing upon, or departure from an air-landing or airdrop facility.

While the relative approaching velocities are positive values, the LOS angle rotation rate q needs to converge to zero in the terminal guidance stage to achieve the objective of accurate interception.
The remaining structures in the paper are as follows: Section 2 described the relative motion model between UAV and object; Section 3 described the terminal guidance law based on receding horizon control strategy; Section 4 introduced the comparative results and analysis of the guidance law and other several guidance law simulation results.
With a low-observable composite airframe and capable of operational range in excess of 108nm, the NSM features an advanced passive guidance package which combines GPS-aided multi-sensor navigation with an advanced dual-band imaging seeker and autonomous target recognition for terminal guidance. According to Kongsberg, the high-resolution imaging seeker provides autonomous target recognition and a selectable aimpoint for each ship-class.
Decoy and countermeasure systems like the ALE-50 and LAIRCM will be needed to defeat an antisatellite missile's terminal guidance sensors and protect targeted spacecraft from being destroyed by counterspace batteries that continue to function despite suppression efforts.
He also authored publications dealing with inertial and terminal guidance system performance, simulation techniques, Kalman filtering and numerical techniques applied to estimation problems.
It has features like active radar terminal guidance, electronic counter- countermeasures and smokeless propulsion.
As a special MIMO radar networking system, MBFL-SAR is a special mode of bistatic forward-looking imaging by combining geometry configuration of bistatic motion with forward-looking mode and has potential of being applied to missile precision terminal guidance. Properties of MBFL-SAR are analyzed in this paper.
During the missile's terminal guidance, a main factor affecting its precision is the target's escape maneuvering.
Adding, the warhead uses a radar correlation terminal guidance system.
The decision was made to provide the nuclear missile with a terminal guidance for the anti-ship role, to be redesignated R-27K.
