A GUI library, generally used with TCL by John Ousterhout, but also available from within C or Perl. Tk is available for X Window System, Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. Tk looks very similar to Motif.

Tk

(1) (ToolKit) A graphical user interface (GUI) library originally developed for the Tcl programming language. Tk is also used with the Perl, Python and Scheme languages. See Tcl/Tk.

(2) (TK) An acronym for "telecine." The reason TC is not the acronym is because the video industry already used it for "time code." See telecine and time code.
