A few researches about the diet of the Short-toed
Treecreeper have been realized in Europe (Madon, 1930; Orsini and Ponel, 1990), compared with the eurasian treecreper diet which is relatively known during his reproduction (Kuitunen and Tormala, 1983; Kuitunen 1989, Suhonen and Kuitunen, 1991), No study has been undertaken on the diet of the short toed treecreper in North Africa and particularly in Algeria.
