Sofievka

 

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Sofievka Raion, Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Sofievka is situated 12 km from the Devladovo railroad station, on the Verkhovtsevo-Krivoi Rog line, 105 km southwest of Dnepro petrovsk. It has a cheese plant, a food-processing plant, and other enterprises.


Sofievka

 

an arboretum in the city of Uman’, Cherkassy Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. The arboretum is an example of landscape architecture of the late 18th century and the first half of the 19th century.
