Location:7 miles west of Jonesboro off Route 146 in Union County.
Facilities:
Activities:Fishing (on Grassy Lake, Mar 1-Oct 15; 10 HP limit for boats), hunting (only in designated Public Hunting Area at south end of site), sightseeing and wildlife photography in Refuge area.
Special Features:Area is winter home for 50,000 to 100,000 Canada geese each year. White-tailed deer, bald and golden eagles, and other waterfowl are also commonly found in the area.
