valentinite, mined sometime around 1988 in the Tatasi mine, San Vicente, Chichas Sur, Potosi, Bolivia.

Brian also had about 25 thumbnails and miniatures of massive gray galena matrix on which perch sharp, silky white, wedge-shaped crystals of
valentinite to 1.5 cm, found a year ago at the Colavi mine, Potosi.
From the Colavi mine, Comelio Saavedra Province, Potosi Department, there are a few 3 to 5-cm metallic gray matrix specimens with small vugs containing sharp, wedge-shaped, glassy transparent crystals of
valentinite to 1 cm.
Associated minerals include cerussite, anglesite, realgar, barite, galena, mimetite, smithsonite,
valentinite and bindheimite.
