Clinically,
verrucous carcinoma and giant condyloma acuminatum share many common features including large tumor size, verrucous surface, exophytic and endophytic growth, typically slow progression, and virtual lack of metastatic potential.
Differential diagnoses in the histopathological examination should include keratosis, squamous papilloma, verrucous hyperplasia, and
verrucous carcinoma (2).
Most common subtype is the conventional squamous cell carcinoma, accounting for 90% of the cases, while other relatively common types are
Verrucous carcinoma, Papillary squamous cell carcinoma, Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma, Acantholytic squamous cell carcinoma, Spindle cell carcinoma and Adenosquamous carcinoma.7
Verrucous carcinoma is a subtype of squamous cell carcinoma presenting with exophytic, cauliflower-like lesions similar to large warts (12).

Verrucous carcinoma of the skin and mucosa," Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, vol.
Metastatic rate of papillary carcinoma, NOS, is similar to WC and higher than
verrucous carcinomas but lower than usual SCs [14].
Verrucous carcinoma of the foot associated with human papillomavirus type 16.
When carcinoma develops, squamous cell carcinoma is the most common (keratinizing or nonkeratinizing), while mucoepidermoid carcinoma,
verrucous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and undifferentiated carcinoma may be seen.
Focal epithelial hyperplasia, oral squamous papilloma, oral lichen planus, oral leukoplakia, oral
verrucous carcinoma and oral squamous carcinoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of VV Focal epithelial hyperplasia affects oral mucosa, lips, tongue, notably lower lip and more rarely the palate and it is strongly associated with HPV types 13 and 32 [13].
Verrucous carcinoma is a well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma with a distinct verrucous or exophytic appearance characterized by locally aggressive but minimal metastatic potential.
