Thus, participants may rely on the induced emotion when assessing the acceptability of the act described in the
vignette, in a manner congruent with the valence of the emotion (i.e., less acceptable for negative emotions such as disgust).
The process of developing
vignette stories for the study began in October 2005, and lasted through January 2006.
This familiarity, once obtained, allows the researcher to incorporate, into the subsequent writing and presentation of the
vignette, specialized information, terminology and other salient aspects about a particular setting that would resonate with human subjects targeted for an SBRP experiment (Frederickson 1986; Wason et al.
Another finding showed that participants scoring low in TA and perfectionism did not significantly differentiate between two procrastination
vignettes:

The framing of a
