Vishnevskii Ointment

 

an antiseptic substance, containing tar, bismuth tribromophenate, and castor oil.

The ointment was introduced by the Soviet surgeon A. V. Vishnevskii. It hastens the healing process of wounds and acts as a disinfectant. It is used for treating wounds, trophic ulcers, bedsores, and so on. [5_384-i]
