WPS Office

(Writer Presentation Spreadsheet Office) An office suite from China-based Kingsoft Corporation for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. With more than 600 million users worldwide, WPS Office supports all Microsoft's Office formats.

Originally for DOS in Chinese
In 1988, WPS Office started out as the DOS-based, Chinese language Super WPS (Super Word Processing System). In 1997, WPS 97 was the Windows 3.x version. Four years later, WPS Office included presentation and spreadsheet applications. When developed for the English and Japanese markets, it was released as Kingsoft Office in 2007 and renamed WPS Office in 2014. See WPS.
