William O'Brien State Park
Location:12 miles north of Stillwater on State Highway 95, near the town of Marine-on-St.
Croix.

flush toilets (é), 2 walk-in campsites, camper cabin, 2 group camps,
picnic area (é), picnic shelter (é), volleyball court, horseshoe
pit, hiking trails (12 miles), self-guided trail (1.5 miles),
wheelchair-accessible trail (2 miles), paved bike trail (1 mile), ski
trails (12 miles), warming house, swimming beach, fishing pier (é),
boat access, canoe rentals, visitor center (é), interpretive
exhibits, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, swimming, lake and river fishing, boating (with restrictions),
canoeing, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, birdwatching, nature
programs.
Special Features:A great "getaway" park only one hour from the Twin Cities, the park offers a beautiful setting for recreation along the banks of the Saint Croix River.
