Win Show hidden files and folders

Windows defaults to not showing hidden files in the Explorer file manager. To display hidden files, launch Explorer and do the following:

Windows 7
 1. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
 2. Check Show hidden files, folders and drives.

 Windows 10
 1. Select View.
 2. Check Hidden items.
