Win10 Desktop mode

The startup mode in a newly installed Windows 10 is the Desktop mode. For tablet users, the Tablet mode can be selected, which makes apps full screen and changes the Start menu. There is no button to switch to Desktop mode. Desktop mode is selected by deselecting Tablet mode in the Action Center. See Win10 Tablet mode and Windows Action Center.
