Woods, Lebbeus

(1940–)
American architect, artist, and educator. Woods is a revolutionary, experimental, visionary, and theoretical architect. He is the founder of the Research Institute for Experimental Architecture (RIEA), and a Professor of Visionary Architecture at the European Graduate School (EGS) in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. Woods is the author of numerous books including Lebbeus Woods: System Wein (2006), The Storm and the Fall (2004), and Lebbeus Woods: Experimental Architecture (2004).
