Find a task ti having the highest mean
absolute deviationIf the least
absolute deviation is used for the first-order distance, the hamming weight expressions (Formulae (1) and (2)) described in Section 3.1 turn into
(ii) In general, if the antenna condition number [kappa] is rising, the
absolute deviation [absolute value of d] rises.
Eight forecasting methods are used and measures of forecasting accuracy, namely, mean
absolute deviation (MAD), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), and mean square deviation (MSD), are calculated using Minitab 17 package.

The features extracted are Entropy, Energy, Standard Deviation and Mean
absolute deviation. The input layer has 4 neurons and output layer has 2 neurons.
The mean and median
absolute deviations. Mathemat Comput Model.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the use of bootstrap statistics in estimating the variances and biases of selected robust estimates of the parameters of a linear model, specifically, the variance and bias of [beta] obtained from the following robust alternatives: 1) median approach (Padua, 1987); 2) the generalized bootstrap estimate of [beta]; and 3) and the minimum
absolute deviation method (Huber, 2009) are estimated by the bootstrap methods.
For each simulation iteration, we capture the rate of false rejection (i.e., type II error), the rate of rejection from "small" and "medium" program effects, and the mean
absolute deviation (Pham-Gia and Hung 2001) between estimated program effects and their true value, a measure of estimator bias.
The definitions of the mean
absolute deviation (MAD) and relative error are given in the Appendix; these are calculated for the complete set--training and test set of total 83 molecules from Walters et al.
