Damages caused by
aminophenols are related to fast oxidation of these compounds in physiological conditions to benzosemiquinoimines that are finally transformed to p-benzoquinoimines.
In this present work, isomers of
aminophenol were synthesized by chemical oxidation method and characterized by different spectroscopic techniques.
Ingestion of aniline can cause methemoglobinemia and hemolytic anemia through the action of its metabolites, phenylhydroxylamine and
aminophenol, both strong oxidizing agents (1-4).
One, referred to as the "primary," is exemplified by the phenylenediamines, and the other, often an
aminophenol, is known as the "coupler." These compounds are stable and do not react with each other until they are mixed with hydrogen peroxide.
Potassium, sodium, calcium, and other metal salts of
aminophenol carboxylic acid derivatives prevent the formation of deposits.
(i) 80% (v/v) ethanol, extracting soluble Cd, including chloride, nitrate, and
aminophenol cadmium ([F.sub.E]-Cd),
The new NAGLU aglycone scaffold consisted of an acylated
aminophenol with a 6-carbon linker between a tertiary [C.sub.5] and secondary [C.sub.3] amide group.

Aminophenol and 2,4 Dinitrophenyl Hydrazine," Mycobiology, vol.
Common hair dye ingredients used are, hydrogen peroxide, PPD, resorcinol or
aminophenol. (7) But the manufacturer of Vasmol claims that no hydrogen peroxide or ammonia was added.
Carbon disc electrodes have been modified with poly-p-aminophenol and copolymer of p-
aminophenol and p-phenylenediamine respectively.
Prilocaine is biotransformed by hepatic amidase to
aminophenol metabolites (i.e., ortho-toluidine and N-propylalanine), which subsequently can oxidize hemoglobin to methemoglobin.
Stability of aqueous solutions of N-acetyl p-
aminophenol. J.
