The shortening of tendons due to their modification or slippage when the prestressing force is transferred to the anchorage device. Also known as anchorage slip.

The shortening of tendons in prestressed concrete due to the deformation of the anchorage or slippage of the tendons in the anchorage device when the prestressing force is transferred to the anchorage device.
