GreenPeak Technologies adds to Qorvo a legacy of engineering and system-level expertise in wireless RF technology, and offers a range of proprietary
antenna diversity and multiple receiver architecture technologies.
For
antenna diversity applications, the RFX2511 features a high-efficiency power amplifier (PA), low noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass mode, Transmit/Receive switch, double- pole, double-throw (DPDT) antenna switch for diversity, and directional power detector circuitries.
It claimed a zero VoLTE (Voice over LTE) call drop rate, achieved by implementing different antenna designs, namely Close-link Antenna Tube to negate the impact of hand placement over a cellphone's antenna, and Switched
Antenna Diversity with primary- and secondary-grade antennae that adapts to available network by optimising reception power.
RFaxis initially will provide its RFX2401C reference design, followed by its RFX2411 and future products with
antenna diversity. The RFX2401C and RFX2411 are fully integrated, single-chip, single-die RFeICs that incorporate all the RF functionality needed for IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee, wireless sensor networks, the IP-based Thread mesh networking protocol and other wireless systems in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
In each measurement epoch four distances (namely d1, d2, d3 and d4) are measured using
antenna diversity (also known as space diversity).
SiBEAM's UltraGig solution incorporates advanced beam- forming technology and features a unique
antenna diversity architecture supporting single or dual-antenna array architecture.
- Use of four-branch
antenna diversity receiver technology at cell sites to optimize wireless signal strength.
This
antenna diversity technology helps provide greater range and coverage compared to more traditional three-antenna devices, so all connected devices can achieve the best performance wherever they are located.
Multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) system is a well-known system that exploits the
antenna diversity to enhance the bit error rate and the channel capacity in fading environments [10,11].
It also features multicarrier support for global use, support of static or dynamic IP addressing, secure network functionality and high performance
antenna diversity for challenging cellular environments, www.eaton.com.
