The
aortography could not show the morphology of the aortic cusps.
Aortography in left oblique projection (LAO 30-lateral (LAO 90) and anteroposterior projections was performed with pigtail catheter to profile the lesion.
Repeat
aortography was performed demonstrating mild persistent filling of the pseudoaneurysm superiorly, as well as persistent opacification of the IMA.
(b)
Aortography results after first checkup at 2 months.
Koirala et al., "Acute mesenteric ischemia: a sequela of abdominal
aortography," Journal of Community Hospital Internal Medicine Perspectives (JCHIMP), vol.
These patients presented with new neurological symptoms and other systemic manifestations of CES following carotid angioplasty, thoracic
aortography, coronary artery bypass grafting, and percutaneous coronary intervention.
With rapid ventricular pacing over a long Amplatz extra stiff wire, balloon aortic valvuloplasty using an Edward 4 x 23 mm balloon with simultaneous root
aortography to see how the left main flow was performed (Figure 2).
Imaging modality of choice for diagnosis of free floating thrombus includes CT
aortography followed by transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
Intraoperative
aortography: (a) before deploying the stent graft and (b) a pseudoaneurysm was observed but it disappeared after the stent graft was deployed.
However, with
aortography in the left anterior oblique projection (a), it can be recognized that RCA originates from the LCS; with ventriculography in the right anterior oblique projection (b), a mark is seen on the location anterior to aorta, showing interarterial course.
Patients were then admitted to the Department of Cardiology, Osijek University Hospital Center for routine diagnostic preoperative work-up of severe calcified AS, which included coronary angiography and
aortography. Thus, the presence of associated coronary artery disease was excluded (coronary artery disease was defined by the presence of coronary artery stenosis >50%).
Diagnostic importance of
aortography in conal ventricular-septal defect.
