The four dominated scattering centers under different
aspect angle of LOS are all precisely characterized.
The estimation accuracy of the remaining time from linear guidance law will greatly affect the guidance performance; in addition, the linear optimal guidance law is effective in case of minor
aspect angle. In most cases, unknown disturbance and nonmodeled dynamics exist in the actual system which will affect the performance of guidance law.
Figure 2 shows the HRRPs observed at depression angle 27 deg and
aspect angle 50 deg as examples.
In SAR images, even the same target presents different appearances with the variation of
aspect angle. In this section, the aspect information is evaluated for the classification of vehicles in SAR image.
The
aspect angle, elevation, and slope in the selected area range from 0.11[degrees] to 360[degrees], 5 m to 1509 m (244 m on average) and 0[degrees] to 69.29[degrees] (7.88[degrees] on average), respectively.
Its
aspect angle and time-range profiles under the two conditions after translational motion compensation are shown in Fig.
We saw the behavioural pattern of the radar system in the presence of
aspect angle changing from 0 to 270 degrees as well as changing scatterer spacing.
here [[theta].sub.0] - the initial
aspect angle of the target, assumed to be at a distance of 10 Km; [omega] - the constant angular velocity; [gamma] - the angular acceleration, varying for each period; [t.sub.start] - the time instant (as an integer multiple of burst duration) at which an angular acceleration period begins.
There are differences in
aspect angle and aspect rate that pilots can discriminate in the air but which cannot be displayed with an adequate number of addressable pixels by the visual display systems of contemporary flight simulators.
The signal from the decoy is power-managed to match the signal from the radar and the radar cross-section (RCS) of the target, which changes with
aspect angle. According to Roberts, tests have shown that automated tracking systems are relatively easy to defeat.
However, this is true only if the target is always viewed at the same
aspect angle with respect to the radar.
Then the received chirp signal g(t) at
aspect angle [theta] is
