autohide

autohide

Hiding a particular element on screen automatically. For example, when the Windows Start menu is set to autohide, the Windows Start button and Taskbar disappear when the cursor is no longer over the area. When the cursor is brought into that side of the screen, the Start menu and Taskbar reappear. The Mac Dock can also be set to autohide.
