Tracking in which a servomechanism automatically follows some characteristic of the signal; specifically, a process by which tracking or data-acquisition systems are enabled to keep their antennas continuously directed at a moving target without manual operation.
An instrument which displays the actual course made good through the use of navigation derived from several sources.
