The effect of the
barometric pressure on sea level variability was removed by using the hydrostatic equation following the methodology of Gill (1982), and Salas-Monreal & Valle-Levinson (2008):
A slow-moving storm would have a dip of about .02 to .03 inches of
barometric pressure per hour while a fast-moving storm will drop the barometer about 0.05 to 0.06 inches per hour.
The data on the mountain took less comeups to the 1,000-yard target than at sea level due to the decrease in
barometric pressure. The colder temperature tempered that somewhat, but had we shot using data we had from the coast, we would certainly have made a significant miss.

Bonds implied we don't yet know how crappies might sense changes in
barometric pressure, but he indicated that crappies seemed to seek areas where they experience less distress after a front.
Hellickson found no direct correlations between deer activity and temperature,
barometric pressure, rainfall or any other weather factor he checked.
"The average
barometric pressure is 29.92," said John Kowaieski, another NWS meteorologist.
In addition to optional built-in sensors (auto-zeroing differential pressure and
barometric pressure) as many as 20 extra sensors may be connected simultaneously to the AdvancedSense.
I would expect that the temperature error, like
barometric pressure correction, would be a fixed offset that is a function of temperature due to the increase in density.
Unlike nucleonic gauges, it is not affected by humidity,
barometric pressure, gap temperature, or airborne dust.
Wireless inputs for the unit include thermocouple, RTD, temperature, humidity, and
barometric pressure. The wi-8 series comes standard with a choice of either two Form C relays, or two SSRs (solid state relays) that can be used for control functions or alarms.
